5th and 6th class were looking at the work of French artist Claude Monet recently and completed their own interpretation of his bridge and waterlilies paintings.
While speaking about the upcoming “Culfadda NS Christmas Kindness” initiative, 5th and 6th class discussed the importance of kindness, gratitude and giving thanks in our wellbeing. The class spoke about the Thanksgiving celebrations in America and created their own “Thanksgiving Tree” and created some turkeys using a paper collage.
5th and 6th class were delighted to learn that their question “What conditions influence how quickly food rots?” has been accepted for presentation at Science Blast in the RDS, Dublin on Wednesday March 6th 2023. A busy week in the lead up to their Confirmation on Sunday 10th of March.
