1st and 2nd class have been learning about money in maths. The children did coin rubbings, made shops and played money bingo. Lots of fun!

Amazing Antarctic
1st and 2nd class have been learning about the Antarctic. They learned all about emperor penguins and wrote a report about them. They also did some super penguin art focusing on light and dark shades of blue.
Science Week
The children in 1st and 2nd class had lots of fun for Science Week. They worked in groups to design and make bridges. They learned how water travels through celery right up to the leaves. They made tornadoes in bottles and finally they had a great morning in Ballymote...
