3rd and 4th Class

3rd and 4th class were busy creating winter scenes in art. Their excellent masterpieces included snowy hills, snowy tree tops, the night sky and Santa and his reindeer – an exciting way to start the month of December.

3rd and 4th class had great fun playing lots of different fractions games last week.

We continued working with colour and paint in art this week. Check out some of our pieces below.

It was all this Egyptian in 3rd and 4th class this week. After learning about the Ancient Egyptians -  the class used the hieroglyphics alphabet to write their names and did some crack the code activities!

3rd and 4th are continuing with paint and colour - this week we were looking at Mondrian art and creating lighter and darker shades of our primary colours. Once again, the excellent artwork lights up the corridor outside Ms. Denning’s classroom.

3rd and 4th class enjoyed playing loads of maths games during Maths Week 2023.

The Eggshell experiment results are in! The whole class agreed that they will ALL be avoiding fizzy drinks, tea and vinegar!   There was tremendous work put into 3rd and 4th Class Family Tree projects. Well done to all children and parents for efforts...
