5th & 6th Class were joined by the Transition Year Students of St Attracta’s, Tubbercurry today. The girls are taking part in the SEAI One Good Idea Project & created an online game called ‘Earthlings’ as a fun way for children to learn about the environment & how to be more energy efficient. Aisling Brennan, Niamh Durkin, Belinda Mitchell, Laoise McDonagh & Francesca Harding worked with the pupils in groups & gathered feedback from them. You can try out the game at home here www.earthlings2014.weeby.com About the One Good Idea Project The aim of the One Good Idea Project is to inspire people to make small lifestyle changes that will use energy more efficiently and help tackle climate change. To win, each team has to design and activate a creative and exciting awareness campaign that shows people in their community just how one good idea can make a difference to ourselves, our pocket, and our planet.
